China Oolong Tie Guan Yin Organic

Oolong Tea is a semi-oxidized tea variety that is halfway between Green Tea and Black Tea in terms of oxidation and flavor. Native mainly to China and Taiwan, Oolong Tea is prized for its aromatic complexity and its different flavor nuances. It is produced through a complex process that includes withering, shaking, partial oxidation, and fixing (i.e. blocking oxidation through heat). Depending on the level of oxidation, which can vary from 10% to 70%, Oolong Tea can be closer to Green Tea (less oxidized) or Black Tea (more oxidized).
