Lung Ching Superior Bio
The "Dragon Well" is one of the most extraordinary Teas in China. According to legend, there was a spring near a temple where a benevolent dragon was believed to live. During a long drought, the monks prayed to the dragon to bring rain, and soon after, rain began to fall, saving the crops. Since then, the Tea grown in that area has been called Lung Ching in honor of this story. In the 17th century, during the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Qianlong visited the West Lake region and was so impressed by Lung Ching tea that he declared it "Imperial Tea". Since then, Lung Ching tea has become synonymous with quality and prestige. Originating in Zhejiang Province, in the West Lake region near the city of Hangzhou.
