Anji Bai Cha 1st Grade Organic

It is a particularly prized Chinese white tea, originally from Anji county, in Zhejiang province, and its name derives from the light colour of the young leaves during harvesting. The leaves of Anji Bai Cha are long, thin and light green, almost white, especially when fresh. In late summer the plants of this variety still give white and delicate shoots, which together with the two thin and young apicate leaves, are pressed by hand until they have a needle-like appearance. The tips are characterized by the bright green color combined with the white of the hairs. When infused, this rare Tea releases a pleasantly intense flavor with fruity and slightly sour notes, in a clear and transparent cup.
